Synopsis: "Sappho on Fire" is a
contemporary interpretation of the classic, ill-fated love story of
Saphho and Phaon as recounted by the comic poet Plato, as well as
Ovid, within The Epistles.

the spirit of Aphrodite (Olga Ravassi) who believes
a way to achieve eternal fame exists. With Aphrodite as
muse, Sappho composes a poem that will ultimately become
his most powerful work .. but at what price?
